  • Cookie Day Registration
    • Register for Cookie Day here if you haven’t yet!
    • Scheduling + turnout updates (including where we are with scheduling legislator meetings)
    • Cookie Day training session overview courtesy of Mass Alliance of HUD Tenants
    • Big Cookie Recipient announcement!
    • For reference, coalition materials (including Cookie Day resources, data, and fact sheets) are available in the shared folder here.
  • Communications
    • Cookie Day coalition amplification (posts/shares + talking points)
    • Press: 2 prospective coalition members interested in connecting with media ahead of Cookie Day (intros + timing)
    • Lived experience conversations (separate from press): where we are + next steps
      • This is where it would be great for lived experience participants and providers to share insight into how MRVP impacts not just housing outcomes, but health care, remaining in community, and educational outcomes as well.
  • Strategy
    • MRVP codification updates
      • Updates on the Senate bill changes (previously S. 1008, now S. 2826). View the bill here.
    • Confirm coalition asks + framing (Codification + $300M; how/if to reference 4,400 benchmark)
      • New Special Commission on Extremely Low-Income Housing report recommends 4,400 vouchers; we also don’t yet have the governor’s recommendation. Reactions and feedback welcome. View the report here.
    • Fact sheet: overview of updates + any must-fix accuracy/clarity flags
  • Data/tools
    • Data: brief status on MRVP tables and “need vs served” work
      • This will be especially useful for Cookie Day, helping us ground conversations with legislators in clear, consistent numbers and a simple “need vs served” snapshot in legislators’ communities!
