Affordable Homebuyers
Homeownership is one key to a thriving CommonWealth. Connecting first time homebuyers to the support and resources they need is central to CHAPA’s mission. This also means focusing on closing the racial homeownership gap and redressing historical patterns of discrimination and disinvestment, giving everyone equal access to their housing dreams.
Through promoting the one-stop resource site MyMassHome, working with educators and counselors in the Massachusetts Homeownership Collaborative, and improving access to affordable homes, CHAPA works to overcome barriers to homeownership and create strong communities together.

“We closed on our house last month. A stable house with clean water. I had a chance to start cleaning up the gardens. I’ve never been able to garden and plan to plant bulbs, knowing I’ll be able to see them in the following year.”
Your Fair Housing Rights
