Outreach Employment Specialist

Responsibilities:

• The Outreach & Employment Specialist is responsible for direct outreach service, case management, and documentation, as well as for the provision of the services of the supported employment program.
• This involves assisting participants in obtaining and maintaining employment that is consistent with their vocational goals and recovery.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in rehabilitation, psychology, human services, business/marketing, communications, or related field.
• Two years direct care experience providing services to adults with mental illness.
• Knowledge and understanding of the vocational and educational needs of adults with psychiatric disabilities.
• Proficiency in word processing and other computer functions.
• Ability to provide mobile services in community locations at least 70% of the time.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends on an as needed basis.
• Driving License Required
