Building Local Support for Housing

The CHAPA Municipal Engagement Initiative Team is excited to now offer Building Local Support for Housing sessions!

Does your community need more housing, but local opposition blocks it at every turn? Do you want to start a pro-housing coalition but are not sure where to start? Are you just interested in learning more about the Municipal Engagement Initiative advocacy model?

This session is intended to give folks the tools to mitigate local opposition to housing projects in their communities and encourage production and preservation of housing there. We will also be exploring the importance of coalitions and relationship building within our communities.
