There are nearly 2,000 parcels owned by faith-based organizations that can support the development of the homes that people, our communities, and the Commonwealth need to thrive.

The Legislature is considering a bill that would allow churches, synagogues, mosques, and other religious institutions to build multi-family housing by right on their land.

At CHAPA’s YIGBY (Yes In God’s Back Yard) forum on March 26th, you will hear from The Lynch Foundation on research they completed in conjunction with the Lincoln Land Institute and developers who have created homes on faith-based land. We’ll also host a conversation around the YIGBY bill currently under consideration in the state legislature.
