We’re hiring a full-time Senior Construction Analyst for our Multifamily Housing Division.

 

As a Senior Construction Analyst, you will play a crucial role in overseeing various projects that contribute to our mission. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Working with the Development Team and external partners in performing conceptual reviews of proposed projects.
  • Providing guidance to developers to ensure understanding and compliance of NH Housing’s Design and Construction Policy Rules (HFA 111), Design and Construction Standards, and Design and Construction Standards for Rehabilitation.
  • Maintaining thorough knowledge of acceptable construction methods and practices and all relevant national and state building codes and regulations.
  • Performing selection, oversight, and monitoring of external inspectors engaged for plan review and property inspectional services. Working with Development staff and external contractors and partners to resolve conflicts that might arise between inspectors and development partners.
  • Tracking and reporting on data related to construction costs and timing.
  • Ensuring that appropriate federal programmatic requirements related to construction are met, including Davis-Bacon and Section 3.
  • Overseeing the construction requisition process for all NH Housing multifamily construction loans as performed individually or by NH Housing contract inspectors, including development of acceptable documentation and processes.

     

Your experience, skills, and education should include:

  • Knowledge and understanding of construction contracts and construction administration.
  • Familiarity with building and life safety codes. Ability to establish, monitor and maintain a team of external construction inspection service providers.
  • Knowledge and understanding of construction contracts and construction administration.
  • Basic proficiency on Windows Microsoft Office 365 Suite
  • Education: nine to ten years relevant work experience, Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred.
  • For training purposes, the first six months of work will be in the office. Intermittent remote work available after that time.

Starting Pay: $66,500 - $83,100, dependent on relevant experience
