The Massachusetts Department of Revenue (DOR) released its third annual Tax Credit Transparency Report on September 18. The report covers credits awarded or issued under 13 programs during calendar year 2013, Including the Historic Rehabilitation Tax Credit, the State Low-Income Housing Tax Credit, the Brownfields Tax Credit and the Certified Housing Development Tax Credit (HDIP). DOR also updated the 2012 Tax Credit Transparency report. Awards totaled $118.5 million for the nine programs using an awards process (up from $92 million in 2012), including $53 million for Historic Rehab, $31.5 for LIHTC, and $1.16 for HDIP. Brownfields credits issued totaled $44.2 million.
