Vote for Massachusetts Housing Innovations! - January 30, 2015

Three Massachusetts housing initiatives are finalists in HUD’s Innovation of the Day (IOD) Initiative.  People can vote for up to 3 winners (until February 10).  The IOD initiative was developed to disseminate information on innovative housing, community development and urban practices and to identify emerging trends and promising solutions.  Information on all 26 finalists can be seen at http://www.huduser.org/portal/iod/searchDB.html. Voting is open till February 10, 2015.  The three Massachusetts initiatives are (1) the Fairmount/Indigo Line Community Development Corporation (CDC) Collaborative and two programs to free up funds for development and reduce development costs: (2) MHP’s Housing Reserve Assurance Program (Housing RAP) and (3) DHCD’s MassDocs and MHP’s OneSource Programs.
