One of the ways that CHAPA plans to keep this important fair housing discussion in the forefront is through our advocacy for the passage of H.1111, An Act Relative To Housing Production. The Commonwealth’s housing shortage reduces housing opportunities for people across the state. H.1111 provides necessary tools to meet the Commonwealth's housing production needs. Along with a requirement for every community to zone for multifamily housing in areas near transportation, schools, and public services, the bill sharpens existing tools and identifies new resources and incentives for communities to increase overall housing production.
