It is with great sadness that CHAPA shares with the affordable housing community the passing of CHAPA staff member Odessa Walton-Peele. Odessa was a kind, compassionate and beautiful human being. She worked for CHAPA for ten years, and cared so deeply about our mission that she posted on her Facebook page: “If I was a millionaire, I would make sure there was affordable housing for anyone who needed it.”

Odessa will be deeply missed. She leaves her husband, two children, and a host of extended family members and friends. For those who are interested, we will post information about making a donation when it becomes available.
