MAPC analyzed areas within half-mile of existing and proposed stations within the MetroFuture region and has developed a new station area typology. The study identifies ten distinct station area types ranging from Metro Core stations in Downtown Boston to Undeveloped suburban stations. The study also estimates the potential of TOD in the region over the next 25 years.
