Housing Landscape summarizes the severe housing cost burdens of low- and moderate-income working households. These households include full- and part-time workers who play important roles in the economy, and they face greater affordability challenges than the overall U.S. population. In 2014, 20.9 percent of all working households were severely housing cost burdened (9.6million households). More than one in four working renters and16 percent of working homeowners paid more than half oftheir income for housing costs in 2014.
