Shaping Action: Findings on Use of Housing Choice Vouchers
Federal Housing Choice Vouchers (HCV), or mobile Section 8s, have a 50-year legacy supporting housing access and stability, particularly for households with the lowest incomes.
As threats to the program emerge—from federal funding cuts to time limits—current data about household demographics and voucher usage can inform our response and new strategies.
Join CHAPA’s Housing Policy Action Center from 12-1 PM on February 4th for a free webinar detailing the Center’s first research release. The research team from NYU’s Furman Center will present first-of-its-kind findings on statewide and regional patterns in HCV use, followed by program updates and a brief Q&A.
