On March 11, HUD issued a draft assessment tool for states under AFFH and comments are due May 10. The tool outlines the questions states will have to address when putting together their Assessment of Fair Housing (AFH), including questions on their QAP. Awards will support the creation of 312 units for at-risk populations
Framingham – March 11, 2016 – Today the Baker-Polito Administration announced more than $21 million in affordable housing awards, including $10.6 million from the Housing Preservation and Stabilization Trust Fund (HPSTF), to create 312 new units of supportive housing for homeless individuals and families, veterans, the elderly, and people with disabilities.

WASHINGTON, D.C.- Diane Yentel, veteran affordable housing policy expert and advocate, has been named as the new President and CEO of the National Low Income Housing Coalition (NLIHC) by the coalition’s board of directors. She will replace Sheila Crowley, the coalition’s long time President and CEO, who is retiring. The transition will take place in April.
